In 1931 a disease know as Canvas Disease was discovered and only 30 reported cases of this disease have been reported. You can be diagnosed with Canvas Disease if you are a Ashkenaei Jew and only if both of your parents where given this disease. Therefore to be diagnosed with this disease is at the molecular level genetic motion on a chromosome 17 that causes a deficiency of an enzyme called aspartoaxylase. As a result the chemical reaction that causes the tissue to disintegrate.Some of the symptoms of Canvas Disease are mentally relatedness, lack of head con troll, lack of mussel tone and stiffness of the mussels. Children will be diagnosed with this disease as an infant and will not have a long life span.In since there is no cure a person who have Canvas Disease will probably face death. Continuing on 1 in a thousand ashkenaei Jews can be diagnosed. In conclusion my opinion to Canvas Disease is I find it very unfortunate because people who are diagnosed with this disease are not granted a long life span.
