Types of Waves

There are many diffent kinds of waves, but there are two mane ones. They are longitudanal and transverse waves. One intresting fact about tranverse waves is each wave has it own wavelenth. Another intresting fact about longitudanal waves is that each wave has a trough and crest. The trough is the lower part of the wave. Therefore the crest is the upper part of the wave. My third fact about longitudanal waves is there may or may not be compressions. Compressions are waves that are close together. The oppisite of compression is rarefraction. Rareefraction is when the waves are further apart.

Two intresting Facts

*A wave can very the tempertature
*Heat waves are causing the Artiv to melt
